(Radio Management Client - Schedule Job)

Allows you to select the connection method for the current job event. This selection applies for the current radio or radios selected for this job(s) in the Schedule Job window.

WFPrior.png To launch the Schedule Job window, in order to create a read or write job: From the Radio Management Client's Radio View, with the desired radio record / row highlighted, click the orange Schedule Job button, or right-click directly on a highlighted radio and then select "Schedule" in the popup menu.

WFPrior.png To select multiple radios, hold down the CTRL key, then select the desired radios.

For POP25 - FIP Mode programming, the Connection Method must be set to "POP25" or "Any",

AND

FIP Mode is then available In the Device Programmer (DP) / Device Monitor.

When the DP's Radio Connection Method is set to "Over the Air", and

when the DP's ARS Alias is set to "None".

DEFINITIONS:

USB + Wireless (LAN)

Configure the RM Device Programmer with this setting if you want to program a radio through a USB port or Wi-Fi. (see Job Type). Also see Device Monitor's - Automatically Process Jobs.

 

POP25

Through a POP25 / OTAP wireless connection on a certain Device Programmer, radio(s) can be read or written-to (see Job Type).

Any

The Device Programmer searches for both types of connection methods, and ultimately proceeds with the first available connection type: Wired or Over the Air.
